Planning a head :)

So last week I tried a new tactic of pre planning and organizing our weekly meals!!! It worked like a charm!! The most important thing was that I pre read the ingredients and make sure they were on hand... then the day I was going to prepare the meal... I had to make sure I had the time required for the meal.... if not I chose a different one from my list of weekly meals :) 


So today, I am organizing for the same tactic for this week...... 


On the menu so far is .... CURRIED RICE PILAF, HONEY NUT CHICKEN + CHICKEN WITH GARLIC, BASIL & PARSLEY... just a few more reciepes needed.

Oh kay.... lets try this again.....

Well I really wasn't sure if blogging was for me!!! But seeing as how I have somehow managed to get 143 views on my site.... I feel motivated again to start up this bloggin' thing :)

Lately, I have been on and off the "clean" food eating, 
"healthy" eating, "have whatever I feel like it" eating... 
and have been struggling a bit..... 
you would think an upcoming trip to Maui would be sooo motivating..... but its still tough!!! 
My motivation is creeping upwards the closer I get to my vacation.... question is ?? is it a little too late ?? 
We will see......

Dinner tonight was a yummy one.... I was craving a new kind of salad.... I tried this recipe....
AND IT WAS YUMMY... 
my hubby added some ranch dressing to his... 
but I liked mine just the way it was...



Aside from trying to eat better.... I've been trying to get the booty movin' too.... check out these stairs I found to run along side a beautiful view...

Been too long...

I am starting to miss blogging... its been a while since my last post..... I feel a little down about not having comments or conversations going on my blog.... but I think I will continue writing because I enjoy it..... and it is a great summary of my thoughts & outlook on life..... Lovin' the long weekend :)

Ohhh... I hate when longs weekends end!!! I just love the extra time to hang out with those you love, relax, work on the 2 do list etc.... this weekend was really well balanced for me :)

Too Much To Do....

Yeah, for the long weekend coming up :) Only one more sleep!!! I havent been doing too well keeping my blog up to date. Its not fun having a one sided conversation with my self!!


I would love to hear topics you might be interested coming across on this site.

For now, I had a fabulous end to my day.... some RESTORATIVE YOGA!!! It was just the right way to get the long weekend started... with nervous system calming and time to relax!!! It really is worth checking out.


Now... for a "to do list" for SEPTEMBER... a season change can be sooo motivating!!! Here comes ZUMBA, glass making jewellery, trip planning and journaling :) Maybe some photography too : )
